The War is a Love/Hate Relationship for most Veterans. I miss it and despise my time in. It was an adventure every little boy pretends to have with his toy G.I. Joes and little green Army men, but unless you have actually walked the walk and served, well it will be as foreign to you as an outsiders language and incomprehensible as Shakespeare. War is the devils game. A necessary-evil that is played. Vets dont want your sympathy, we dont need it. What we do prefer is understanding that for some of us, this is what weve become not by choice, but by love to protect you. Take care of your vets, young or old. -TJ R.I.P. Jacob George
