The Warriors Dance ..... The sword dance was preformed by Scottish soldiers before Battle laying Sword and scabbard in a cross pattern. the soldier would then hold ams high fingers pointed in honor of the Stag, dancing outside the crossed swords slowly until indicating to the Piper by a clap to speed up the tune. The soldier would jump into the cross swords and dance quickly trying not to displace the sword or scabbard. Touching would indicate a wound in battle, displacement indicated Death. A wonderful Tradition. And yes I have displaced my sword and Im still here.
