The Watertown Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #6 held their annual Cops and Kids event this Wednesday at Wal-Mart. Various local and state law enforcement officers volunteered their time for this unforgettable shopping experience. Cops and Kids is a one-on-one experience designed to have uniformed officers spend time with children from the area while socializing, shopping, and providing guidance during the holiday season. This year, we were able to able to provide 42 kids the opportunity to shop with area law enforcement officers. Thanks to all the sponsors, participating officers, donors, and volunteers who made the 2014 Cops and Kids a huge success! We also want to take this time to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
