The West Pittston Police Department is investigating an armed robbery at the KNS Convenience Store located at 835 Exeter Ave. At 7:55PM on September 13, 2013 officers were dispatched to 835 Exeter Ave for an activated hold up alarm. Once on scene, officers learned from store clerk Harwinder SINGH that a white male, wearing blue jeans, a black baseball jersey, and a baseball cap, presented an 8 inch knife and stated "Give me your money or I will kill you". SINGH opened the register and the male grabbed approximately $400.00 to $500.00. The subject left the store on foot, heading east on Exeter Ave. The suspect is approximately 6ft tall with a medium build. Photos of the incident taken by the in store security system will be released once available. Anyone with Information should contact the West Pittston Police Department through Luzerne County 911.
