The Wharton County Sheriffs Office is investigating an apparent murder/suicide at a Louise area restaurant Sunday afternoon. Preliminary reports indicate a man walked into Mustang Creek BBQ around 4 p.m. Sunday and confronted his estranged wife, shooting her and then himself, according to a report the WCSO posted via Facebook.Both people are reportedly dead. No customers were in the business, according to the statement. It is unknown if any employees were on site. The names of the deceased had not been released as of this posting.
