The Why? The Where? The why, and where its spelled out there Isaiah 53 1 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed? Even with the prophesy of His birth, and the very fulfillment in the very place, still most of Israel was unprepared for their Messiah, as to where Hed come, and why Hed come. Its as if man Himself tries to arrange the comings, and goings of God. They gave Him the humblest of receptions, and most sparsely of attendance. God on earth, good will to man, you would think anything but it by the Roman legions, and their treacherous ways. Gods plans are for those who seek for Him in every way, and by every means. The very to who were looking, and waiting for Him in the Temple found Him. Waiting, persevering, believing, and hoping, were the determining factors of receiving the Messiah in that day. The patience, and the hope of those in that day had changed, and been misdirected by all they had endured, and suffered. With fasting, and prayer these to had prepared themselves, and pressed through the negatives,.and into the Truth. Luke 2:30 For mine eyes have seen thy salvation, 31 Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people; 32 A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel. Luke 2:36 And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Aser: she was of a great age, and had lived with an husband seven years from her virginity; 37 And she was a widow of about fourscore and four years, which departed not from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day. 38 And she coming in that instant gave thanks likewise unto the Lord, and spake of him to all them that looked for redemption in Jerusalem. Those that looked for Him the first time found Him, even as it will be in His second coming. I love Handels Messiah, the Messiah coming back to earth to rule, and reign, what a day that will be, all praise, honor, and glory to Jesus.
