The Will To Live To those who still suffer.... When someone says ..”I wish I were dead”….do they really wish they were dead….or are they really saying…”I am not happy with what life has brought my way”…..are they really saying..what they mean in the deepest sense is...”I am discontent with living the life I now live”?…. People say ….”I just give up! I don’t want to live any longer!”…..but that’s not altogether true…because if they “just gave up” fighting life on its terms and embraced everything that life brought their way as for their good…..if they just gave up and surrendered to life…they would live….. It’s when people really give up and stop fighting...stop trying to live that is the place and time living starts at…because it’s our innate nature to live….the desire to live in built into our spiritual DNA…we can’t shake it….. if we just allow the life that is inside of us to live for us…here...now…in this present moment…. People have depression….boredom….a lot of these things come from being discontent with life in this moment…from not being fully alive… here and now…..how could you possibly be fully alive and bored…depressed? When one is awake….fully alive every breath is filled with magnificence and wonder…but when we lose sensitivity....we end up like zombies…walking about dead while living…..Jesus said...”let the dead bury their dead”….. No doubt there are exceptions to the rule…cases in which the depression is caused by a chemical imbalance…or a past traumatic event….what people really have no control over….but they can live without suffering from them when they come to live with them…being fully alive and embracing them as neither being bad nor good….then the depression is “just what it is” ...it’s no longer personal…it’s no longer heavy to bear…compared to the one who has becomes insensitive….one who demands that feelings change rather than growing and changing themselves become entrapped in sensuality….trying to fill an empty space inside them with a life of their dreams rather than allowing the life that is within them at this very moment to blossom within them….life becomes dramatic to the sensual…melancholy…soap opera like….dark…..for it is darkness they walk about in…ignorant and unaware of the life that is known only with the heart…that never leaves or forsakes them…… For such a person the practice of gratitude is a saving grace….. gartitude transforms them into being gratuitous rather than blind…..when life opens our eyes we live…..we are able to see life…God...within everything….without separating things into evil and good…..we awaken to the actuality that it is all good……even the devil himself is turned into a tool life uses to mature us as sons…we no longer have to control when we surrender…..things can be left to be just as they are….we seeing nothing that life brings to us as accidental…or malicious…we come to trust life....we have faith that is always present….not big measures or small measures….but the measure…the measure that life itself provides us with…..all the faith we need to live a full...godly…peaceful…joyful life in this present moment…. Today walk about in a sacred bow to the divine which rests in all that you encounter….everything becomes your teacher when you come to know Christ’s presents in everything In this world you shall have tribulation....the world you made fro yourself...but cheer up for christ has overcome your world....let his love transform it into his world.... May the Grace and Peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be multiplied unto you as you continue to walk in awareness of his presence in this present moment Selah
