The World Cup semi -final match between Brazil and Germany will start in the night at 1.30 a.m. Whom are you supporting ? The famous former England goalkeeper Peter Shilton (who had protested against Maradonas hand of God goal) has said that though his heart is with Brazil, his head is with Germany (see todays Hindustan Times page 24). I am inclined to agree. The sad injury to Neymar, and the yellow card to Tiago Silva, which followed one in an earlier match thus depriving him from playing tonight, has made the Brazilian teams chances to win slim. A Germany vs. Brazil match was always regarded as European organization vs. Latin American skill. With two top players from their team not playing the odds are against Brazil. However, the Brazilians should not worry. I read on page 24 (left hand side) of todays Hindustan Times that a voodoo priest is going to use his black magic to send Germany to defeat. Now the only chances the Germans have of winning is for their government to immediately hire and commission an equally powerful, if not more powerful, voodoo expert to counteract this, and ensure Germanys victory. There are many such experts in India !
