The World Master Games (torino2013wmg org) is a sporting event for athletes over 35 that will take place in Torino from 3rd August. On this occasion, San Salvario has decided to take the opportunity to officially show the whole world its enthusiasm and fervency that have distinguished the district over the last few years. The district’s four associations that represent the day and night time commercial and artisan activities, arts and craft stores, ateliers, professional studios will offer the 20.000 registered sportspeople coming from all over the world cultural events enogastronomic routes, shopping, art, design and evening-night entertainment. . Going along the four different routes participants will find four themes ; shopping, art and crafts, eating and drinking, night clubbing. 0ver a 100 ateliers, shops, cultural associations, galleries professional studios, night- time pubs ,bars and clubs will be grouped under the same. They represent the innovative face of this particular district, an enterprising multi-ethnical and multi-cultural community that is continually evolving. On 2nd August from 5.p.m on, the streets will be packed with live music, dj sets, theatre performances. artistic and enogastronomic events , a taste of the district’s real and true reality that will accompany the World Master Games on the following days. San Salvario will show the whole world that it can still create its true reality;, facades will capture the feel of street activities that reflect the contemporary world of new craft and cultural trades alongside historical village activities.
