The administration is touting that millions of Americans have signed up through Obamacare for Medicaid coverage. However, a closer analysis seems to show that instead of some 4 million who have gained Medicaid coverage, the real number is lower than 400,000. How can that be? The Obama administration has been counting individuals re-enrolling in Medicaid. According to Sean Trende writing for Real Clear Politics, “This is odd, because after looking carefully at the numbers cited, the Medicaid figures are the weakest of the bunch. It’s a virtual certainty that the number of enrollments attributable to Obamacare is an order of magnitude less than the 4 million sign-ups implied, and the number of people [on Medicaid] who would actually lose their insurance if Obamacare were repealed is probably around 200,000 to 300,000.” Even Glenn Kessler at the Washington Post Fact Checker, who awarded President Obama three of the top six Pinocchios for 2013, says, “There is much less to the Medicaid figure than meets the eye. (The exchange figure has been updated recently, to 2.2 million, but not the Medicaid figure.) Indeed, there has been vast confusion about what this figure means, especially in the news media.” Just yesterday during a House of Representatives hearing, the Obama administration admitted it has no idea how many people have paid for their Obamacare premiums. As reported by The Blaze: “We don’t know at this point how many people have actually paid for coverage?” a slightly astonished Congressman Greg Harper (R-Miss.) asked during the hearing. “That’s right,” replied Gary Cohen, the director of Medicare’s Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight. Cohen admitted the Obama administration is still working on building the payment portion of the healthcare.gov website. The automated process for payments is still being built, but we have a process in place that is working and payments will be going out next week,” Cohen said, adding that he couldn’t say exactly when the payment portion of the site would be ready to launch. Which leads me to ask you, my friends, along with the liberal progressive trolls who join us on these pages, is this a presidency predicated upon lies? Is the answer not blindingly obvious? If President Obama had told the American people the truth, and if the liberal progressive media had not hidden the truth, would he have been elected President in 2012? When you consider the monumental lies surrounding Obamacare, Benghazi, and the fact that al Qaida is not decimated or on the run, if the truth had been told, the election results could not have been the same. (Assuming of course we have integrity in the election process, but that’s a different story…) I continue to maintain that the jobs numbers were manipulated right before the 2012 election as well — and are still today. There is no way liberal progressives would accept these lies and this behavior if it were coming from a Republican president. What we are witnessing makes Orwell’s 1984 look like child’s play. And a message to progressive socialists: don’t act with this sense of impunity believing there will never be another Republican president. You and your media accomplices are losing all credibility as you not only accept these lies, but willfully enable and promulgate them. The liberal left hypocrisy is so blatant with the grasping “witch hunt” of New Jersey Governor Chris Christie. The Bible has a very poignant verse relating to this issue, in Matthew 7:3-5: “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.” And that’s why progressives embrace secular humanism.
