The administrators are having another meeting tomorrow and hope to discuss camp yet again. Mrs. Davis has asked for suggestions to camp and here are a few suggestions that I have, (this is just a start to see what they are willing to compromise on, and what they give as reasons to no longer have this available.) 1: Camp be moved from 5th grade to 6th grade and held in the fall. 2: Picking 2 possible camp dates and once the test schedule is finalized locking in with the date that is not a conflict. 3: Fundraising and local sponsors for the financial issue. 4: parents organizing camp, is a very LAST resort! (And will only be brought up as such.) Anyone else have any suggestions that might be good to consider? I have to e-mail her tonight as I didnt know the meeting was tomorrow.
