The allegations of a pattern of rampant misconduct by members of the private security force is presented in the recently filed, 55-plus count complaint (Lee County Clerk of Courts 14-CA-000375) filed by Michael Maggiano, Esq., of Maggiano, DiGirolamo & Lizzi, P.C., on behalf of Renee Binns, a Florida resident who in August, 2012, was an invited guest at Harrahs Atlantic Citywith her husband and teenage daughter. According to the complaint, Ms. Binns, a practicing attorney, and her then 17-year-old daughter, were violently and repeatedly assaulted by guards in the hotel lobby in full view of staff and other guests. As Renee Binns was grabbed and pulled away by Defendants employees, she observed other employees of the Defendants turn into assailants and captors and use overwhelming physical force upon her daughter, the Complaint states in part, adding that Ms. Binns watched unbridled violence in complete horror as she was dragged away from her daughter.
