The angry mob who showed up to protest people being detained and transported for processing also taunted LEGAL AMERICAN CITIZENS of Latino/Hispanic background: From the LA Times : A well-known Mexican banda singer named Lupillo Rivera who is a UNITED STATES CITIZEN was driving by when he happened upon the protest and somebody shouted that he was an illegal immigrant and should go home. latimes/local/lanow/la-me-ln-immigrants-murrieta-20140701-story.html#page=1 I have a hard time believing that these people have a problem simply because they did something illegal. They have a problem because these people are brown and they are angry over Americas changing racial demographics, lets just bring some honesty into this right now. This illegal clutch people rely on is a smokescreen. Illegal is simply a government designation and can change at any time when laws change. We could have amnesty granted for certain folks and they would no longer be illegal, but do you think people like this would treat them any better if that were the case? Of course not. I really wish these people would stop hiding behind the illegal mantra because they dont want brown immigrants coming here regardless of whether they are illegal or not.
