The annual John Ford Ireland Film Symposium takes place in venues accross Dublin from June 6-8th focusing on the timeless work of the legendary Irish-American director John Ford. The Symposium opens with a celebration of Hollywood & Fords Golden Year 1939, with a 75th Anniversary of Stagecoach. Saturday June 7th will see the Ford Film Hub and an outdoor screening of The Quiet Man, starring Maureen OHara. SUnday, June 8th will see a unique event commemorating the work of Ford during WWII in Collins Barracks. A full programme of events can be seen at johnfordireland.org.
