The anointing is mechanical and it is applied at will. The more - TopicsExpress

The anointing is mechanical and it is applied at will. The more you learn how to operate and function with the anointing, the more good you will get done. We think many times it is God leading me, moving on me. And many times we put the unction back on God, but the apostle Paul said this. Remember if someone says something in the Bible that directly contradicts something you have been taught or believe, you must change your believing to what the Bible says. Do you understand that? Paul said to Timothy: “Don’t neglect the gift that is in you. I put Him in you by the laying on of my hands and I know you have Him.” But he also said this, “Stir up the gift that is in you.” Stir it up like you would a sleeping fire into a white hot blaze. That means that it is not God’s responsibly to stir you up. He will help you as you seek to obey. “But I just don’t feel led.” “Well then you stir up the gift.” “Well, I just don’t feel the anointing.” “So, stir yourself up.” “I am waiting for Holy Spirit to move me, to lead me, to move on me, so that I can go minister to somebody.” “Holy Spirit did not say wait, He said, stir yourself up.” He said, “Behold, today is the day of salvation, not the day or the hour or the minute you are moved on, but right now. But today, stir yourself up; stay stirred up.” See that is the difference. The people that are more effective in the kingdom of God stay stirred up more than other people. And the problem is you are waiting for somebody to stir you, a meeting to stir you, Holy Spirit to stir you. Just like Smith Wigglesworth said, “If the Holy Spirit does not move me, I move the Spirit.” Many love to quote Wigglesworth, but most don’t believe what he said.
