The appalling lack maternity care facilities came up strongly during Mahila Delhi Dialogue. Nothing unexpected there. Whats new is we have a political force that is ready to act on a dire citizen need. If money is well utilised in upgrade and upkeep of govt. hospitals without any system leakage not only will citizens have access to affordable healthcare, it will act as a natural competitor to private hospitals and encourage price correction. Besides, healthcare is labour intensive. So govt spending increases employment. Neat move by AAP
