The arrest of Isyaka Wada by police men under the command of Faskari local govt. was unconstitutional and undemocratic as far as a democracy is raining in Nigeria.The 1999 amended constitution grants every citizen of Nigeria a freedom of expession and violation of that right is contrary to the provision of the constitution.When good leaders deviate or fault their followers, they expect the media,academicians and the ordinary citizens to blow the wristle or flute of warning.Such leaders listen to and hear and the respond constractively. In fact, they dont see themselves as being above public criticisms.Said Danmasanin Kano.Finally, for Nigerian police to maintain its dignity must be honest in carrying out their task and stay away from materialism and desire for better life and our leaders should develop the habit of resisting criticisms and temper justice with mercy when treating their followers irrespective of their party differences.
