The attack by SDF government on Teachers SDF government has used strong words against Sikkim Teachers Association. They have termed teachers as Anti-National as teachers has threatened to surrender their voter cards to State Election Commission over the mass transfer row. SDF government has also termed Sikkim Teachers Association as illegal organization. SDF has demanded legal action against teachers saying that teachers are involved in acts against nation. The SDF has said that the decision to transfer excess teachers from Gangtok and other urban areas to rural areas is justified and is compulsory for improving the education system.
