*****The back story: This page was set up as a meeting place in which to help Joyce recover from her losses in the recent house fire that affected so many! When she let it be known that she had found a new place to live but needed to replace everything, the community came forth to help her do that. Following a list to set up a new apartment as a guideline, generous individual after generous individual has stepped forth with items to help fulfill the list. We are at the point that the list is nearly fulfilled completely and Joyce is now able to focus on raising funds for her security deposit. *****The how to: 1.If you want to donate cash you may donate at the GoFundMe page set up by Joyces friend, Jamie. I will link it in the comments. You may also donate cash or gift cards and drop them off at the Torrington Municipal and Teachers Federal Credit Union on East Main Street. 2.If you want to donate items to fulfill the new apt needs, you must check the list found at google docs.The highlighted yellow items are donated items. Look to the unhighlighted items to see if there is anything there you can contribute. 3.Arrange for a drop off time with Karen Mangine at 102 Prospect Street in Torrington. Thank you for your participation! 4. If you are interested in helping to clean, pack, and label boxes this coming week, please pm Karen or comment here. Most likely, we will meet on a weekday evening to start this process.
