The benchwork for Phases 1 and 2 of my N-scale Union Pacific - TopicsExpress

The benchwork for Phases 1 and 2 of my N-scale Union Pacific Evanston Subdivision is nearing completion. A very condensed version of the classification yard at Green River, Wyoming will appear on the upper level. The lower level will represent the off-layout destinations of Cheyenne, Wyoming and Ogden, Utah. The helix will take trains from the upper to the lower level, separated by 8 inches. I will soon carry the layout in sections from the garage where I am constructing it upstairs to the train room. Then I can begin to lay track and install wiring. Eventually I will begin to construct Phases 3 and 4 of the layout.
