The biggest "book burning" in history was in Baghdad during the invasion. Most of the Iraqi history that was stored in the Baghdad Library was destroyed/stolen. It was ranked on the top of the wikipedia list over "book burnings" trough out history. Wikipedia removed it from the list more than a year ago, go figure. When one is to destroy a people, their history must always be destroyed with them to prevent them from ever rising again. A sad and tragic story.
