As for this particular spleen-vent I find repeatedly in my feed, I think if you poll black musicians they will strongly disavow the concluding "hands-off" admonition in the article. Most black music artist revenue (and there is considerably more than their population share) comes from non-black sources, and the fact many non-black musicians seek to appropriate some of the many creative cultures that are predominantly black places blacks in a leadership role, as opposed to being marginalized and ignored.
