The book of Jude is probably one of my all time favorites. It begins by telling us about the sinful nature of the world around us, and how we must be cautious so as to not fall victim to it. At the same time, it commands us to go into the world and to rescue others by snatching them from the flames of judgement and to do so with great mercy. Christian community is great, but unless youre leading other non-believers towards Jesus, then youre missing the whole point of it. We build each other up not for our own personal gain, but to prepare each other to go out into our fallen world and be a light to those around us, despite the circumstances. Stop hiding, and be a light today. Share the love that Jesus shared with you!
