The book on the history of Eldridge Park, "A Trip through Time" comes out today! Proceeds from the book, which sells for $20 including tax, will benefit the preservation society. You can pick your copy — and have it signed by the author — from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, and noon to 3 p.m. Sunday at Eldridge Park in Elmira. The park’s amusements close for the season on Sunday. After that, the book will go on sale in local shops, including The Christmas House, 361 Maple Ave., in Elmira.
