The books of Islamic history are replete with stories of right-hand possessions, and the Quran as well references them. This topic has become one of the most controversial & hot topics of discussion which Islamophobes and other critics of Islam love to misinterpret. The Islamic concept of Riqq has almost nothing to do the Western pre-modern manifestation of slavery. To equate the two is simply ignorance.
