The bright star that led the Magi to the birth of Jesus Christ...is the same light that is reaching out to you tonight. Maybe you are caught up in darkness, living a life out of harmony with what you know is right and true in your heart? The Light of life is reaching His hand to you tonight, will you take hold of it? Will you accept the great gift, the gift of hope, the gift of a new beginning, the gift of forgiveness and amazing grace? Tonight maybe you feel lost, alone, even afraid and full of despair? Maybe you are tired and feel like its too dark to see clearly any way out of your mess? I know how you feel. I remember asking God to just give up on me because I was so lost and a disgrace to Him! I said I was a Christian yet I lived like I was lost! I got drunk almost every night after work searching for comfort in a bottle! I am not going to sugarcoat it... I really was lost and hurting inside! You see we all need God in our life to fill the void or we remain empty! That emptiness is painful! Friend, no matter how together we can appear to others, we really are hurting and even crying on the inside if we dont have the peace of God ! I must of looked really together to others as I owned a business, was married, kids, luxury cars, big house , gave to charities and in fact sat on boards and volunteered my time to causes. Truth is I was miserable and was searching for peace! Ultimately my drinking, smoking and lifestyle was catching up to me and I started to loathe the man I had become! I just wanted to sabotage my life because of the pain. I tried to send my family away and leave them... I didnt think I could change! Friend, It was a night like tonight...and I was all alone in a hotel room and had reached the end...thats when I cried out to Jesus Christ to either take me home or help me! He reached down in the depths of my despair and unshackled me! He gently led me one step at a time out of bondage and darkness! Guess what? He will help you to my friend! Please call on Him! He will help you exchange the good lie the world offers for the good life! Isaiah 1:18 18 “Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. 19 If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good things of the land; Thanks for letting me share, God bless you!
