The campaign is heading into summer WAY ahead of where we expected to be! We have been campaigning hard for six months and are getting results and responses that are very exciting. Thousands of households have received our message and we are getting messages of support, phone calls, volunteers & sign requests everyday! If you have time to volunteer there are still a very small number of areas that still need to get the first piece and many still need to get the second. All talking openly and forcefully about real issues facing real people in Ward 6...issues like wages, the fight for free transit, landlord licensing, police harassment and accountability and much more! If you can help the campaign out by making a donation (which can be done as long as you live in Ontario) please check the link below out. We still need to raise money for signs, the future lit, issue cards, etc...any amount helps...even a $5 donation! Unlike wealthy candidates I cannot afford to finance my own campaign (a municipal financing reality that needs to be STOPPED...the well off and wealthy can literally donate up to the limit to themselves and try to buy their way into office) and centrist, liberal and corporate candidates never have trouble raising money! So...if you can help (and I know budgets are tight) an avowedly socialist campaign for City Hall out...one fighting for the values we all share...with any level of donation...it would be greatly appreciated. :) (And you might be eligible for a 75% rebate!)
