“The challenge of leadership is to be strong, but not rude; be kind, but not weak; be bold, but not bully; be thoughtful, but not lazy; be humble, but not timid; be proud, but not arrogant; have humor, but without folly.” – Jim Rohn The world seems like a better place when we sit down to pen our thoughts, it however is challenge when we want to go out into the big bad world and action upon everything we envision. There are a few of us who take the challenge head on and emerge as even better people and leaders than how they went in. CYNOSURE OF DISTRICT 92 - Suman Mukherjee The journey of a person who accidentally discovered Toastmasters on a boring corporate call and rose to become the most sought after Employee, Contributor, Change-maker and leader at the firm. His leadership has spanned across continents and his ability to channel his passion and dedication to the task at hand has earned him the highest accolades! He says I think it’s important for all of us to be selfish before joining Toastmasters. Selfish to firstly understand what Toastmasters is all about and then to decide whether it’ll help me. Secondly (if I decide to join), then I need to figure out how it’ll help me and what I need to do to maximize the learning (and hence the benefit from it).
