The chapter finally reveals the gimmick Kouen placed on Hakuryuu, leading us to learn more about the djinn Phenex and her abilities. Its disappointing that Kouen lacks a fail safe plan in case of Hakuryuu overcoming Phenexs power, but Hakuryuus determination really made him look badass, especially how hes entering the capital to face his mother.
