#highereducation #Food4thought I know now why my favorite bible passage is John 15:13...todays discussion was a eye opener to me...The thought of selling my kid or anothers and actually going through with it never would enter my cerebral cortex...I feel the same as in class one who would go through with this in my opinion needs to lay where they stand and as those that leave the shore they should follow or be beneath the sand....for one that same agony as a parent I would feel why would I ever pass that burden on to some one else....next if we even consider this let alone do it we are no better than those that enslaved us...this was their mentality...better the blacks to tend the fields and be bed warmers and clean the grounds and sweat and labor in the heat and be oppressed than us.....that attitude better you then me...I get the argument of not wanting to lose my kids....and having endless love and not living without them so if you know that what about the other living without theirs..thats like saying idgaf and then we are no more than impostors to liberation......this goes against the MAAT. the bible and your internal spirit...it does mines unless im just wired wrong but I know where there is a will there is a way and one family disrupted is one to many i would not participate with it...I cant even image having to live with my self watching my kids grow and feed and knowing I aided in another family to never have that experience with theirs again because of my individual desires and in the end if you go along with it you have to know your soon to be next....I know people say thats just not reality but none of this is our reality this was created and imposed on us so end the end me knowing that I think if I even seen another do that to another I think I would have to summon the dragon (gravedigger) on them to and bring the fire cuz they no good for the Cadre....Black Power!!!!!!! if I got it wrong then enlightened me give me another perspective....I do recognize this did take place in history throughout out all groups and nations in slaved but I just wont be able to do it
