The chief architect of Chinas state capitalism, Deng Xiaoping, once said that the Chinese model of capitalism entails feeling for the rocks whilst crossing a river. Even if the EPRDFites try to simulate China, they seem to define their model as ignoring the rocks as much as possible, whilst crossing a river. This tendency of them is visible in both macroeconomic policy making and political decision making. We, therefore, could say that China is more capitalist (structurally speaking) than Ethiopia.
