The children of Bonnie Blair invite you to join family and friends to honor her memory and celebrate her life story. Monday, December 22, 2014 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm Kehls Chapel The chapel is located at 11621 Old Seward Highway, Anchorage, Alaska 99515. In lieu of flowers, her family requests that a donation be made to honor her memory to the Kincaid Elementary School PTA, Anchorage. An effort is currently underway to upgrade and modify the playground area and add adaptive recreational equipment to make it accessible and safe for disabled children to enjoy just like any other child. This playground will make it possible for disabled children to enjoy outdoor activities and games independently. This effort was so close to the heart of Bonnie as it is the school of her great granddaughter, Claire; who will benefit from this new playground as will many other children in the years to follow, leaving a legacy of support and caring in celebration of childhood. A basket for donations will be available at the chapel. Donations may also be mailed to: 8411 Berry Patch Dr. Anchorage, AK 99502 Bonnie will be laid to rest with her youngest son, Samuel Ridge Blair in Arizona following a service being planned in the spring to allow her many friends and family members in Arizona to attend.
