The chronology of a disaster !! I saw this patient 2 years ago for the first time in our clinic and suggested him to build up his atrophic mandibular ridge bilaterally with autogenous bone blocks from retromandibular region first, and to place implants 5 months later on. He did not agree because of the costs and decided to go to another specialist in Tehran. Now he is coming back with this chronology of treatment. On the left side implants failed after 3 months, and augmentation total loss after 5 months later on, to end up with this situation showing in the first clinical image. On the right side ..... you better judge yourself. Now he requests my old treatment plan and agrees to the costs ..... What would you do? would you accept to treat him? what would be your safest treatment strategy? implant-op
