The church heirarchy must voice out strongly against this COMELEC foolishness and must not lend its goodwill and allow this naked governments act of hypocrisy, disrespect and possible desecration of the churchs spiritual role and place in our society and of our faith. While we do not question the novelty of this COMELEC idea, I dont think its moral or proper to do it near or within the vicinity of the church when it could do it either in a public plaza or near a public market or both which are equally filled with people not only on Sundays but in all days of the week. This is a brazen act of blasphemy and insult to the churchgoers. Of all public places, why in a church? I believe COMELEC has something else to actually send to the church people than simply thinking about registration.
