The closest I have ever got to watching a Bastille concert was through uploaded fancams on Youtube (sad lyf huhu) and everytime I watch their live performances, the hairs on my arms and neck stand on their ends because of too much awe and love for this band. Bastille is simply breathtaking when they are performing live. Whenever I watch their shows online, I could feel this energy rush into my veins, making me want to stand up from where Im sat (in front of the computer lol) to get wild and dance around and scream and sing along. One of the many things I love about Bastille is that when they are on stage, they dont just stand there to sing and play their instruments. They dont make the audience feel like they are just mere spectators. Instead, they use their music to connect and to make sure that every person watching is having the best moments of their lives. Even behind the computer screen, I could feel this connection and it gives me these painful stabs in my chest every freaking time because just the thought of being part of that crowd is enough to overwhelm me. What more if I was actually there. In the actual concert. Watching Bastille in flesh. Dear Spinnr PH, I have done my very best this year to be a good girl hehe. Please let me win tickets to Bastille in Manila. Please grant my wish to see my favorite band live. Just... please let me experience the genius that is Bastille huhu
