The cold aftermath of the mid-November temperature bump. A lot of strange tornado stuff down south of Lake Geneva but nothing here except the leaves are all gone. Not gone, but not on the trees anymore. Thirty-five out there with a four mile an hour wind. Harvey is cavorting about among the remains of his forest (much of the bracken cleared and dead trees removed to be be replaced with a pine forest of my selection. Harvey is ruminating out there as he wonders through the transition stage. The stream swelled up but did not exceed its banks. Winter will soon cover it all with a blanket of snow. I have selected the five trees to serve as the Advent trees as the Christmas season edges ever close. Some of my neighbors have decorations up but I absolutely hold out until after Thanksgiving.
