Question from anon: Can you please ask: Im curious to know at what point people think that its acceptable notice/lead in time for an upgrade? I feel for those who purchased days or only weeks before the new model however my TM31 is 4 months old and Im still upset. Not because I want the latest gadget but rather that all cooking classes on TM31 are no longer guaranteed and presumably its only a matter if time before and support and recipes for the TM31 are no longer promoted. Everything will be geared towards the TM5 for a machine that is only 4 mths old. Had I known that the once in ten year upgrade was only months away I wouldve waited. People relating this to a TV upgrade or iPhone dont get it. There was only one choice and changes are no a regular thing, and compared to other appliances it is a substantial investment. There seems to be talk of them working in a solution for those who purchased in the past 3 months - is that the magic number? Some people who bought only weeks ago and are happy with TM31 where as others are not, is it more about how the individual feels. After the appalling job Thermomix have done handling this I dont trust them to come up with a satisfactory answer let alone timeframe. What time frame does everyone think is acceptable notice for an upgrade of thermomix?
