The cold front rolled in about 1:00 a.m. last night. Lots of lightning and thunder and about a half inch of good old rain. As the rain really hit its intensity, my cat, Mr Robb came racing in with a mouse in his mouth. The chase was on to get the mouse. He only likes to play with them and then turn them loose. Finally caught the mouse and threw it back outside for his second chance at life. This morning I wake up to a screeching sound and he has brought in a bird. The chase was on again to catch the bird. Unfortunately for tweetie pie, he did not get a second chance. Birds seem to be a bit more fragile than mice. And so begins my Tuesday! I shudder at the thought of what he could have brought into the cabin this summer if he had been allowed outside. Hope your Tuesday has gotten off to a better start than mine has.
