The columnist teaches at Media Education Research Centre, MERC, University of Kashmir. I wonder. What does she teach? Creative writing? Narrative Journalism or IR? This is absurd. She writes, Yet another creed of paid pipers is prevalent in institutions and establishments. They are the camouflage creatures, the conspirators made of destructive brains. Exactly. That is what is obvious in this piece through and through which best exemplifies the technique called how to write nothing in 500 words. All of us have read and heard the story time and again, why waste half a page of the leading newspaper in Kashmir to reproduce the same irrelevant stuff. Who is the piece is aimed at? WhO is the audience? What is the subject? The deadwood has plagued our educational institutions. Journalism students are educated in a redundant, uncritical, unimaginative and blocked system.
