The common Man Yesterday On a raining day sitting in party office Of burari, had nothing to do, sitting with my Laptop chatting with friends, Nothing to do else, all of sudden a cop arrived, he sit on chair with calm face, he enquired about Sanjeev bhai & rest of team, A conversation started, He asked if I am a paid staff or a normal voluntee, I replied I am a volunteer , Then conversation went to another level, we talked about corruption in society, I told him that delhi police is one of the corrupt department in delhi, He said replied the corruption starts from ground level where a entrant to delhi police has pay a sum lakhs to join delhi police, after his training he has to pay heavy bribe to get his posting in a good place , when the person gets on the field people offer him heavy bribe to get there work done, If dont take any bribe his bosses starts harass him, so he has to take bribe, Some times he even get suspended for taking bribe but in the good books corrupt officers he easliy get off from suspension & goes a mile further, The cop also said they have to pay bribe internally to get there vacation passed or TA DA passed, He says they work 15 to 18 hrs a day as per bosses orders, they even cannot go home for 3-4 days as duty has been assigned, He also says on police post they are on 4-5 cops working managing crowd of thousands, At The end he SAID WHEN A QUESTION PUT TO HIM ABOUT HARRASING COMMON PEOPLE- He says they dont want to harrass common people but the corrupt system & POLITICAL persure they have to do it, He also adds At the end of day WHEN THEY REMOVE THERE UNIFORM THEY ALSO FACES THE SAME PROBLEM DUE AS THE COMMON PEOPLE FACE, By chetan saini
