The conference committee on the Election Discloser SuperPAC bill has reported it out and it is heading for the final, up or down vote in both branches today or tomorrow, which is the last day of the legislative session. The bill contains a section with Sen. Rosenbergs language, irrelevant to the main bill, to begin his long-planned destruction of the initiative petition/ballot law process. This provision requires that the red voter information booklet delivered to every household give the governors opinion of the fiscal impact of a ballot question,eg, if you vote for this initiative petition, civilization as we know it in the commonwealth will end. CLT takes this assault on the peoples lawmaking ability very seriously, and expects there will be a roll call in both branches.
