The conservative’s favorite doctor, Ben Carson is having a change of heart. After insisting for about a year now, that he wasn’t interested in being president, he has had a change of heart. In a recent interview with Fred Barnes for the Weekly Standard, Carson conceded that he is beginning to feel the need to run. Not for himself, but for those he has met on his speaking engagements across the country. He told a story about a woman that approached him after a speech and wouldn’t let go of his hand, insisting that he needed to run for president. (If he won, it would be historic. He would be the first competent black man to be president) Carson says that he was touched by that woman and perhaps all the love he is receiving across the country has made him decide that God wants him to run.
