"The cost of Operation Streamline isn’t known. Heather Williams, a former federal public defender in Tucson, estimated it costs about $96 million a year, plus costs like using the courthouse, courtroom staff, magistrates, U.S. marshals, U.S. attorneys and courtroom interpreters." If they cannot relate on a humanitarian level, American Taxpayers need to understand the outrageous cost coming out of their pockets for our insane and cruel immigration laws.
