The cry of a desperate heart Dear child of God, Many of us, some or other time in life, experience these patches of utmost despair where life seems to have no more meaning for us. I have also experienced those times during my lifetime, so I know what it is all about. We can be as super spiritual as can be, but there are times when sorrow, trials and temptations come our way I can truly testify that God has never failed me, and He will never fail you, my dear loved one, so take heart and just keep on trusting the Lord. Love ~ Uncle Jacques and Aunt Mary. Job 42:10 – 11 ”And the Lord restored Job’s losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before. Then all his brothers, all his sisters, and all those who had been his acquaintances before, came to him and ate food with him in his house; and they consoled him and comforted him for all the adversity that the Lord had brought upon him. Each one gave him a piece of silver and each a ring of gold.” • I have lost all hope, and I can no longer cope. I feel like ending it all, because there is no one to heed my desperate call. Romans 5:5 ”Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” • People around me are happy and gay, but I am sad and feeling far from being OK. Ecclesiastes 7:3 ”Sorrow is better than laughter, for by a sad countenance the heart is made better.” • Only emptiness and darkness fills my heart, with no prospects, it seems, of having a new start. I see no purpose in my life ~ only bitterness and strife. • No one understands how I feel; under my burdens I reel, with no prospects of being healed, so it seems. Isaiah 49:14 - 16 ”But Zion said, The Lord has forsaken me, and my Lord has forgotten me. Can a woman forget her nursing child, and not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; your walls are continually before Me.” • So I cut myself off from everyone, because I don’t trust anyone. I am plotting and scheming ~ even horrible things I am dreaming. • Oh, dear precious soul, Jesus is standing right by you to make you whole ~ to mend that large hole in your soul! • Satan is eager to see your downfall, but don’t give heed to His misleading call. John 10:10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” • He wants you to put the blame on God; only to tighten his grip on your precious heart. He is the destroyer ~ your troubles and misery to enjoy. Ephesians 6:12 ”For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” • So why should you give Satan that pleasure, whilst in God’s eye you are to Him, a precious treasure. • Keep faith and put your trust in Jesus, He knows everything about your sighs and wishes. He is still your unseen guest, working out everything for your best. Hebrews 13:5 I will never leave you nor forsake you. • Also remember: There are many of God’s tender-hearted people praying for you, asking God to see you through. So be strong and decide to do what is right and not wrong ~ On your lips God will give you a new song!
