The danger of staying too long around a controlling person is that it can damage your self esteem for years, destroying your own ingenuity. When you meet a gifted, talented person who lacks self confidence, whose appearance seems larger than the voice of their heart within, you might have a person who hasnt recovered from a controlling figure from their past. Wrong relationships do more damage to an individuals ability to believe, than an unfavorable environment.
