Reiki was used in ancient Tibet, Egypt/Kemet, and was rediscovered by Dr. Usui of Japan in the late 1800s. What is Reiki and how does it work you may ask. Reiki is a universal life force energy, also known as prana, chi, mana, and ra in other cultures. This force resides in all of life, from plant matter, food, the sun, water, humans, and all other fabric of existence. What a Reiki practitioner does is become a direct conduit and vessel for higher vibrational frequencies of light energy to flow through them and into the client or object of desire. As all things are truly energy, vibration, wavelengths and frequencies, healing through energy work is a unique experience and acts to restore balance to a persons electromagnetic field and works on the many aspects of the self, including the mind, body, spirit, and emotions.
