The day I became a Paperazzi! So hopefully you will have enjoyed my Venice image earlier today. I wanted to share an amusing anecdote from that trip. This was shortly before the Premier of the Bond Movie Skyfall and while I was in St Marks Square my twitter feed starting going berserk about a James Bond star visiting the Omega shop in Venice. I discovered it was only 2 minutes away and went to investigate. As I turned the corner I walked straight into a mob of between 500 and 1000 people all behind barriers waiting to catch a glimpse of a Hollywood star. In the confusion the security guys spotted my camera and ushered me really quickly under the cordon and in with the Italian press corp, no argument from me! I had pole position when Bond Girl Berenice Marloh appeared to open the store however the Paperazzi could not understand why I spent so much time laughing and taking photos of them instead of her! Great , great fun and actually one of my images ended up in a watch industry magazine afterwards! (Cheeky monkeys nicked it for free!)
