The day Winston came to Worcester. It is 50 years since the iconic statesman Winston Churchill died - and here is astonishing footage of his visit to Worcester. Churchill was honoured with The Freedom of the City of Worcester on May 20th, 1950. The mayor at the time was Stan Bennett and it was he who made Churchill a freeman of the city. Stans son John was 18 at the time, he spoke to Gavin Kermack about the atmosphere upon Churchills arrival. Tune in to the Breakfast Show to hear more.
