The day is nearly done, and I have settled in for the night. Last week has brought smiles and tears. Happiness and sadness. A show of strength, and the fear of weakness. I have learned that I have never walked alone. As long as I remember someone has been by my side. Leading me into confusion and then giving me direction. Call them angels, spirits, miracles, or just plain luck, there is someone always with you. To my cousin, that is about to start a new venture, stand tall and remember that after the storm there is always a golden sky. To my son, always stand tall and be proud. It is honor and your values that lift you above. I believe in you. There are 28 days left in 2014. If we all try to find understanding, our little part of this world can be the example. We can live in peace. There can be harmony. If you must fight, fight against discontent, if you must raise your hand, raise it to praise God. If you must raise you voice, raise it in a song of peace. Happy Thanksgiving and may this Christmas season be one of peace.
