The day started with a panicked mother, excited kids and a year full of adventures ahead. The preparation is complete and like any major event the build up is bigger than the actual event. I got a high five from the junior high schooler and a quick dismissal from the 3rd grader. I cant say my anxiety has subsided. However Im working on it. I didnt cry when I took them to school for the first time BUT junior high is like a kick in the gut. Praying for all my D parents and our amazingly strong kids that this year is full of joy! Stay strong!
